Terms of service
Draft dated 12 September 2026.
1. The service
Deepe Labs, Inc. (“Deepe”, “we”) provides software that turns a driver’s inspection video into inspection findings, reports and a fleet dashboard. By registering a fleet or using the driver app you agree to these terms on behalf of your company.
2. Early access
The service is offered free of charge during early access. We will publish pricing before any billing begins and give you time to decide. There is no minimum term.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what your drivers record and sign.
- Deepe’s findings are assistive. The driver’s inspection duty under 49 CFR §392.7 and §392.9, and the motor carrier’s duties under Part 396, remain yours. A finding, or the absence of one, is not a certification that a vehicle or a load is compliant.
- You keep your account credentials confidential — including any authenticator device and the recovery codes issued with it — and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
- You use the service only for your own fleet’s operations and in compliance with the law.
4. Your data
Your fleet’s inspection records, documents and account data are yours. We process them to provide the service as described in the privacy notice, keep them isolated in your fleet’s own database schema, and do not use them to train models. You can export reports at any time and ask us to close the fleet.
5. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation during early access. We may change or add features; we will not remove your ability to export your records without notice.
6. Acceptable use
No attempts to access another fleet’s data, to probe or overload the service, or to use it for any unlawful purpose. In particular, the service must not be used to falsify an inspection record or to stand in for an inspection that was never performed: what Deepe produces is a record of what a driver actually captured, and it is worth nothing if that stops being true. We may suspend an account that does.
7. Liability
Deepe’s findings are produced in part by AI models and can be wrong in both directions: a defect may be missed, and something sound may be flagged. We make no warranty that a report is complete, free of error, or sufficient on its own to satisfy any regulatory obligation. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is during early access, and Deepe is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your fleet. We may terminate for a breach of these terms with notice where practicable. On termination you may export your records before they are removed, subject to the retention minimums in the privacy notice.
9. Governing law
To be settled in the reviewed version, along with a liability cap. Both need a reviewing attorney rather than a draft, and this page says so rather than stating a term nobody has agreed.
10. Changes to these terms
This draft will be replaced by a reviewed version before registration opens; the date at the top will change.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms go through the contact form on the about page, which reaches us directly.
