Deepe was built by an owner-operator running a step deck in the western US, who wanted the pre-trip he already did every morning to become the record he was already required to keep — without a second walk with a clipboard.

Deepe is developed by Deepe Labs, Inc., a company that builds applications for transportation companies.
What the product is for
A commercial driver inspects the vehicle and the load every day because 49 CFR says so, and writes it down because 49 CFR says so. Deepe makes the video of that inspection the record: findings against the regulation, section by section; a DVIR the driver signs; a securement report for the load; and a dashboard the safety manager can actually read. The model observes. The app decides, in code that can be read, and the site’s regulation map is generated from those rules rather than written about them.
